These friendly classes are here to support you from week 14 of your pregnancy right through to when you give birth. Using the internationally-acclaimed Birthlight method, this is a beautiful circle of women coming together to support each other and create a nourishing experience. Come and make friends!

Yoga is one of the best forms of exercise during pregnancy and is a safe way to keep you fit and healthy as your baby grows. In our sessions we practice easy-flowing postures to safely relieve pregnancy aches and pains, and to strengthen our bodies for the demands of birth and motherhood. It is a time to get in touch with your body and your growing baby. Our yoga is carefully designed to help you towards a healthy and joyful pregnancy, easy birth and speedy postnatal recovery!

If you are having any pregnancy complications please let us know and we can discuss the suitability of sessions. You may be able to do some or all of the class, yoga is very adaptable! Please make sure you have medical clearance for attending classes if needed.

Both beginners and more experienced practitioners are welcome. Classes are suitable for all pregnant women and people, of any size, shape and ability. This is an inclusive, supportive and non-judgemental space, where we support all forms of well-informed and respectful practices.

Pregnancy massage and treatments

A combination of relaxing massage, deep tissue work and osteopathic techniques, tailored to your particular needs.

Safe and gentle techniques are offered to help support your pregnancy and childbirth, so you can feel as amazing as possible and enhance your experience of this precious time.

Pregnancy aches and pains, and common complaints are alleviated by skilful techniques and practices.

Massage enables your body to accommodate the significant changes of pregnancy, prepare for childbirth and recover more quickly in the postnatal period.

Optimal Foetal Positioning & Breech Babies

In the final weeks of your pregnancy, it is important to help your baby into an optimal foetal position (or OFP) where they can move easily through your pelvis during childbirth.  We are creating space so they can flex their heads, wriggle and spiral their way out!  OFP will also help your baby engage into your pelvis and may prevent you from becoming overdue.

These sessions are a combination of treatments, osteopathic techniques, acupuncture, moxa and massage to help your body release tension, and yoga you can carry on at home to assist in creating space for baby to move.   You will learn practices you can continue into childbirth. The session includes Moxa if needed, Spinning Babies techniques, and extensive handouts for home practice.

Pre-childbirth massage & ‘Induction’ of labour

Your baby is the one who decides when they are ready to be born!  Treatments can help create the optimal conditions for that process to move as smoothly as possible.

A combination of acupuncture, massage and osteopathic techniques to help you into the best possible shape for childbirth, to get things going and encourage the onset of childbirth. We will also cover yoga and other practices you can continue at home and into childbirth to help establish labour.

Research and years of practice have shown treatment to be effective at creating calmness and relaxation. Acupuncture is often used to encourage the natural onset of labour prior to a medical induction. Massage and osteopathic techniques can help with optimal foetal positioning to encourage your baby’s head into the best position to promote dilation of the cervix and effective contractions. The emphasis is on relaxation, softening and alignment, so your hormones can take over and get things started.

Pelvic Girdle Pain, Lower Back and Hip Pain

PGP, lower back and hip pain can be an incredibly debilitating and common pregnancy complaint. Differing symptoms and severity can be safely and effectively treated at any stage during or after pregnancy.

Massage, osteopathic techniques, treatments, yoga practices and bespoke advice, are offered to help safely alleviate pain so you can enjoy your pregnancy.

Using a combination of hands-on techniques, massage, osteopathic methods, kinesotape, acupuncture, advice and home exercises you will receive highly-targeted individual session to help you feel better.
