A note from me …
With over 30 years of experience in bodywork and specialist training in Osteopathy (BSc Hons – first class), Acupuncture (CICM Lic Ac), Yoga (Birthlight), Pilates (APPI), and Cranial Therapy (Sutherland) I offer a safe, holistic approach tailored to each individual. I am fully insured and dedicated to supporting your wellbeing with care and expertise.
My journey into women’s health began with a lifelong passion for movement, mindfulness and healing. After exploring yoga and meditation in the 1980s and 90s, I trained in osteopathy, pilates, acupuncture, massage and holistic therapies, gradually building a practice focused on nurturing and restoring the body. Having experienced pregnancy and motherhood myself, I understand the unique physical and emotional changes women and birthing people face, and I bring this insight into every session.
I also run a weekly Pregnancy Yoga Circle at Everybody Studio in East Oxford, where expectant mothers and birthing people can connect, move safely and nurture both body and mind throughout pregnancy – and the occasional Baby Yoga pop up too!
EXCELLENT Based on 59 reviews Posted on Isla Burns23/11/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had a gorgeous massage with Sara which was just divine. She really went out her way to ensure it was personalised for me and to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. She could tell so much from the moment she started working on me and made sure to work out knots and areas of tension, letting me know all along what she was doing and checking in with me. I left feeling blissfully relaxed! She is so knowledgeable and generous with that knowledge. Can’t wait to go back!Posted on Luiseach Nic Eoin06/11/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I think Sara might be my favourite thing about pregnancy. She’s a fountain of advice, support, and wisdom. Her yoga classes and treatments are wonderful.Posted on Eleanor Sharpe05/11/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sara’s yoga circle is so often the highlight of my week. It is so good for my body and I’ve also learnt so much from her about pregnancy and birth. It is a joy to be part of and I’m very grateful for it!Posted on Katie Masters04/11/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sara's yoga was so helpful throughout my pregnancy. Helped me stretch sore hips and I learnt so many good techniques which I was able to practice in labour. Sara helps facilitate the group which means it's really easy to meet other pregnancy friends! Thank you Sara!Posted on Cristina Iturralde04/11/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing massage from Sarah! I got it as a gift and I got myself a few more to use during my pregnancy. She’s an incredible professional, I left the room in a cloud. I totally recommend it!Posted on Amy Claridge04/11/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sara is really a huge asset and advocate to the Oxford mum community! From her bump yoga classes to the WhatsApp groups and communities she has fostered and the valuable resources she shares within to the 1:1 pregnancy massage I had days before giving birth to the lovely mum and baby yoga session we both enjoyed, I truly recommend all of it! She is such a lovely supportive person too and throughout my journey has offered specific advice to any of my issues from ideas for specific areas of pain to induction questions, she is always happy to answer questions, put in stretches to help with specific issues, offer variations for people who can’t do certain poses and anything she can’t address in detail in class she will always put more detailed, advice or resources in the WhatsApp or ask other mums on the group to add their experience. She is truly a treasure to the Oxford mum community and we are so grateful for her!Posted on Sophie Vaggers04/11/2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. More than just yoga, this group is such a lovely supportive circle of new mums, I loved every minute of it!Posted on Ruth Farnan26/06/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. These classes are the best thing I’ve done during pregnancy and postnatal to support healthy and positive pregnancy, recovery and baby bonding. Sara creates the most welcoming and inclusive space and it has been so valuable in many ways; meeting other local expecting/new mamas, sharing experiences and tips, and of course the tailored yoga sessions which support all abilities, stages and any ailments or issues. My little one has a lot of fun too and we regularly use stretches, moves and songs we’ve learnt in the sessions. Honestly cannot recommend highly enoughPosted on laura oxby25/06/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Warm welcoming atmosphere for all abilities and experiences, would definitely recommend.
